During the peak of COVID-19, these delivery apps gained a lot of customers as everyone was staying home and afraid to go outside and catch the virus.
But, now that the virus is more under control and people are vaccinated, there are fewer orders being placed. And, this has caused a lot of trouble for these companies.
For example, some companies are cutting jobs left and right. They have even started to charge customers more for their orders in order to make up for the loss in revenue. The riders are complaining of not receiving more than 4 orders per day.
